
We are located in Traverse City, MI. GTC BMX has been around since 1999. The Track is operated by Mike Litwiller.
BMX Stands for Bicycle Moto-Cross. BMX racing is a type of off-road bicycle racing. The format of BMX was derived from motocross racing. BMX Racing is an all out sprint, on a pedal bike, on a track generally shaped like a “W”, averaging 1100 feet in length, made of clay, with a start hill, many humps, and jumps, three high banked corners, four straight away's, and a finish line. There are many track through out the US, currently 9 being in Michigan. All are different but over all similar. On race day each rider will compete in at least three races, which are broke down by age and proficiency. BMX racing teaches responsibility, Discipline, sportsmanship, and builds self esteem. It’s an individual sport that riders can take to what ever level they desire. Missing a race or practice does not earn you a spot on the bench! In BMX, everyone races. more -->
